you want to wire them in series, ie from +ve to -ve on the subs....... that way the current is the same through the subs but the resistance is shared..... ie 2 ohms each not 4. GCSE physics at its best!!! Mouse

just make sure your amp is 2ohm stable (most new ones are) I think i can see where you were going with your diagram now that i look harder.........it was 3.45am when i looked at it last
