witch roof bars??

can any one tell me about roof bars for a mk2 golf? will any other model fit on to a mk2 golf? ie mk3 golf, polo...

Is that for putting a woman dressed in black's, broomsticks and black cat on the roof?

 

I thought they just used broomsticks to get around?! Im a bit dis-appointed after reading this, witches aern't what they used to be.

Unfortunately a mk2 is too new for me to know anything about, as I am old and only own mk1s.
