I know there have been numerous threads on this, but there is one thing i cant seem to see on them, Firstly, yes the gear stick is very WOBBLY!!??? What is the problem if i get crunches when changing from 1st to 2nd? if i do it slowly then it seems better, but if i do a quick change then it crunches??

Please excuse the ignorance, i know there are numerous threads on the gear shift lever, but i just cant see this problem??

    Thanks

id imagine you need new bushes like most of those threads will mention...do them all

the crunch is wear in the 2nd gear syncro , changing to a synthetic oil like redline mtl may make it go away or improve it
