    Hi Guys,
I recently went on a trip to the birthplace of VW's, Wolfsburg and
thought, being the kind and considerate person I am that I'd share
some of the photo's with you!

That's the main factory, which is huge! We saw VW Sharan's being made!

That's my mate Jon, stood next to a spotless Mk1, they had literally
driven it from the factory to the museum, it's got about 20km on the clock!

    A nice rally golf!

My mate Jon messing around with the prototype for the R32! The beetle next to it is from the German version of the AA!

Yep, that's me, with a couple of lovely campers!

    [IMG] [IMG]
And finally a couple of pics of an amazing Concept car!

Hope you like them and I'd recommend the trip to any VW enthusiast,
    the place is superb!

Thats not the prototype of the R32!!

It was the A59, it was a 2.0 16v turbo car, it produced 275PS with 367Nm of torque!!! It was also four wheel drive and had a six speed gearbox. Further more it came with sport seats and a digital speed, that was an advance on the Digifiz that appeared in the Golf II. Only three of those body kits were actually made. If you have any pictures of the rear you'll see how it look similar to the Golf IV. Here are some more pictures,

Here's a link to a page (in German) that has more info on it and a PDF download of a magazine that tested/previewed it!

I didn't make that up by the way, it's actually written on the board stood next to the car! [:^(]
So the museum curator must be lying, or wrong!

Thats weird because there is at least 10yrs between the R32 and the A59 prototype! [:s] Also the R32 is based on a 6 cylinder engine where as the A59 uses a 4 cylinder turbo engine.

Ahh well, if thats what VW say then i'm wrong!
