    Yeah probably.....

Old school mate of mine sells Timeshare and 'Holiday Clubs' - Known him nearly 30 years.

Would I trust him? Not a chance.

Bunch of wrong 'uns. Used to joke about people who took the 'free holiday' 'only a 90 min ales pitch and you're free' yeah right try being sat in a boiling hot office for a few hours miles from anywhere being hard sold by a bunch of thugs and if you don't buy you might just find your 'free holiday' has been double-booked and very sorry but you'll have to leave - NOW.

Sounds dodgy. I live in Warwick and never heard or seen it and it's not a big place!

    Stay clear

Surprising how many people fall for this scam. Free holiday turns out to actually not be so free, you have to pay certain fees, then it never materialises because they expect you to be ready to go on the holiday with a ridiculously short notice period.

No such thing as a free lunch unless you work for our local water authority and have a company credit card.

Being naive, I "won" a holiday about 5 years ago via our local garden centre and was assured it was kosha. We got to the Hever Golf place, lovely part of the world and a knock came on the door.... turns out it was a oody timeshare. Himself accused me of lying, I got upset, the man said you really did not know did you? No, we and others did not. Anyway, once He realised I was not lying, something I rarely ever do, we decided to make the most of it and just went through half an hour of one to two sales stuff but they knew we weren't buying. Forget it.

We 'won' something similar & yes it was timeshare & all that but went anyway for the UK presentation stuff, got holiday & went to Madeira FOC only being 'subjected' to a 1.5hr presentation where we smiled nicely in all the right places, said no thanks & had a wonderful 6.5 day stay.

Six months after we came home, got a chaseup call from a different UK agent, wanting to 'give us' our free holiday as their records did not show us taking it. Off we went to Tenerife this time same deal as before, nice people etc, never signed, no heavy sales pitch & no further UK chaseups.

Who says you never get a free holiday! ;)... Or two!
