excuse one's excitement but must say i'm rather chuffed, my scirocco since i've had it had to be frank been a bag of nails, but a nice man came over and reset the carb and it drives a dream, need to wang it through a CT (as if we move i'd like to take it with me) and i'm back rocco'ing again so put the passat steelies back on (polo alloys wont clear the brake calipers), and rear plate re-attached, tidied the mess inside, gave it a quick run up and down the road, brakes are abit iffy but a clean up of the front discs and pads should sort that i've now had the car on/off for three years and its not even racked up 100 miles, but now hopefully it'll be worthy of cruising in style..
