    why o why did i not learn....

    i got some JBL 6X9s ages ago... they were crap

    JBL comps...

    fitted them... fair enough they are not amped but they just sound rubbish. [8(]

    just letting you all know so noone else buys them!

    going to prob buy a RF or alpine sub now. no way i am getting another JBL product.

    i've heard jbl speakers are bad.. not sure about the amps though. my old jbl sub was shat but it was only 8".. but recently i've heard bad thingsabout the speakers & been advised to steer clear..

    they truely are terrible. the highs are way over the top and sound nasty.

    Yes i have my EQ set right...

    i did sound engineering at college and and my tutor said all JBLs are inferior.. lol should have listened!

    i thought house speakers they were always rated as good.. not made it into the cars though - obviously [:x]

    no even their live speakers are cack.. best to go with ElectroVoice/TANNOY/B&W muchos better.

    although they have a good rep, Bose and JBL are supposed to be complete crap. Espch Bose as all bass is recreated using enclosure design not a cone or something

    Imo theres no better 6x9 than infinity ones. I used to have mtx ones
    which were advertised in quite a few places as "the best 6x9s in the
    world" and they blew in bout 2 months. [:x] My m8 used to have jbl's and
    tbh they didnt sound too bad, but that was back when I was 16. :lol:

    i'm up for infinity 5000cs or 5010cs components & set of 6x4's probly 6412cf or 6402cf - any1 used em or recommend them or others ?
