I'm aware of the ET35 offset for the mk2! Bought some cheap TSW's off a member on here who also had them on a mk2, so assumed correct offset-and they also fit fine.

However since i'm just about to get it lowered 80mm in the near future, to avoid any nasty rubbage, i thought i'd check my offset just incase.

However the wheel inside says 'TE46, should this be the offset or should it be ignored?

Would this throw up problems in lowering?

The inner sidewall of the tyre will be 11mm further inboard than before assuming that you've got the same width tyres. If they're wider tyres add on half the difference of the width.

So the short answer is probably yes.

Right, if the offset is too large, can a spacer reduce this for the effect of lowering i presume?

Forgot to add, would it be noticably different to notice that i've gone from a ET35 to ET46?

Just they don't seem to sit in to far!

Personally I wouldn't space it that far as you'll loose the centre spigot and you'll need longer bolts, without the centre spigot you could end up bending longer bolts.

You'll be better off finding wheels with the correct offset if these don't fit.

The wheels are already on (as per sig pic!)

Its just that i'm lowering it and don't want it to rub the inner arch, so i'm going to lower it and at the worse if it rubs the inner arch, use a 3 or 5mm spacer!
