Workshop manual for the 016 5 Speed Gearbox

Found this while looking for the rear brace plate dimensions for the porsche box, thought it may be of interest to many as these boxes are pretty famous even for use out of the VAG circle

And the basic box dimensions>


And the brace plate, to be scaled and printed off so that it measures 9x7 at outermost points as in drawing.
To be cut from 6mm steel.
End housing/cover needs machining by 6mm too to compensate for plate thickness.
Anyone who knows these boxes know that they fail from shaft thrust but are otherwise a pretty tough and versatile box.
The plate below prevents this from happening.
