Hi Guys, My alternator has been vibrating for a while now, because the allen head bolt that was holding it was coming loose. Now the shaft through which the bolt goes is worn, and the alternator wobbles all over the show, and is not snug anymore. How can I fix the shaft?, and relatively quickly... Cheers.
the top bolt with the toothed wheel on is real cheap from most VW spares places. the bottom one, I suspect is a vw only part, but I would look into why it got worn in the first place as that'd be weird..
