is it worth adding a breather to my block on my 1.6 engine build as im not going to be runign a mechanical fuel pump it will be electric so should i add a breather from there ?? well im doing all this work as i have seen some blocks have them loz
should be alright with just the breather on the rocker cover, thats all the GTI has and they're ok. if it breathes heavy fit a catch tank
i ment on the block as theres not much on the block to breathe othere then down oil ways from the head its just on some other blocks i have seen they have got breathers on them
yeah 2.0 8v and 1.8/2.0 16v blocks have the breathers. as I say MK2 GTI 8v doesnt have a block breather and they';re ok! as long as the mesh in the rocker cover is clear you shouldnt have any issues
