Me being me would offer 500 and walk off leaving my number even if I knew it was worth more, I always get a good deal on low mileage cars. We don't buy on age here but on what we want, 1 - 2 owners, full history and sometimes (not VW) sell for a profit. You have to be a bit (politely) cheeky.
