Exactly, i came into the VW world many many years ago in an 8v and i will do my best to leave it in an 8v........ 8v ftw No 16v's allowed beyond the pearly gates dude .

The good news for you is hell is down, so the lack of torque the 16v produces should not hinder you getting there! All those woman you yearn for practice and learn their "skills" on real live 8v men. TBH Life sucks being a 16v owner, so I can understand your desire to make it to hell sooner rather than later.[:^(]

Off topic? Mk2 Newbie, this is am important lesson in deciding your chosen path. You can stick with the right an proper way that is 8v, or you may stray to the dark side which is (16v). I do not even want to mention 20vt and VR6.
