Wow how did i get here?

Never saw this coming! I'm Kat a Mk3 polo owner until last week when my Lovely OH convinced me to get a Golf. So now i suppose i should say .. Hi i am Kat and i rescued a mk3 Golf SE from a dump of a car lot in Luton.

My polo was somewhat uncared for as i intended on glamming her up and then the kerb monster at work bit a chunk out of her!

So my lovely blue golf is now my project and hopefully a good one.

Please say that you're a nice bunch and will give me advice on where to start and how to form a plan to clean up my car. Its all very new to me !!

 

I wont but then I'm rubbish at it so it's a good thing really

hello hello.. pics are on there way, she's just her standard self at the moment, just got in from a 3 hour cleaning session thats the state she was in when i got her!

I still own my mk2 polo, its a nice step up and we've both done the same it would seem.

mk3 polo to mk3 golf mk2 polo to mk2 golf haha

 

Kenbarlow: i iwsh i could afford to keep more than one car, although i'm pretty sure my neighbours about be upset lol

Seatman: i know the song.. it is epic.. although more of a led zep girl myself!

 

Well, of course we are a nice bunch... Get yourself some clay bar to smooth out the paint and remove loads of muck... polish to a rich blue... then wax to protect. Should have her looking brand new and all you need to keep it that way is a foamy 'daisy duke' style wash at the weekend!!

...... Ok forget that last bit, just a wash with a microfibre wash mitt should do it.... Erm, they are available in fab colours!

 

*puts daisy dukes on standby* Have clay bar and chem guys glaze on order.. sooo excited i might burst.

Also on a side note, picked up a nice Montpelier blue mk2 gti for my OH today, i am sure he'll be along at some point
