Got some of these the other day for my 16v. Do you need to set the gap on them or will they be correct out of the box? Tricky with three electrodes but should check I suppose? [:s]

You can check them but you need wire gauges (round feeler gauges). They should be right out of the box, just to check have a look at them end on and see if the gap is same on all 3 electrodes as the chances of all 3 being off are pretty slim.

Cheers guys I will go and find my Nail gun!!
The ar$e in the shop was still certain they were the right ones "I used to have one, & they are the right ones" don't know what he uses to change his plugs then, (a 13mm drill bit by the sounds of it) I got some from him in the end fron a "Syncro" they, apparently are the only ones that have the 10mm dia plugs & every other Gti are 14mm  what Nobbers sort it ahhht Checkpoint car accesories in Mold & Queensferry you are this months shoite shop of the Month

No way! i had exactly the same problem with the same bunch of joey bast**ds. The t**ser gave me the wrong plugs twice and swore they where right because he used to have one...

They also got the wrong CV boot in three times and tried to charge my younger bro 35 quid for a pair of front pads for a mini. I'd burn the place down if i knew i could get away with it [:x] [:x] [:x]

THEY MAKE MY BLOOD BOIL [:x]

    Where you from Deacon????????
