At the minute this photo is making as much sense to me as the photo with the guy holding the sewing machine with the crashed ups van in the background.

Who built this, and how is the boost routed?
And also, I have to say it looks factory...
Id give 50 quid to see the other side of it.

(sorry if this is a re-post, I honestly am a bit dumbfounded with this one)

Aside from a few differences it LOOKS a bit like a 16vG60 (based on where the alternator and a couple of other bits are) but seems more modern looking (not sure why I think that)

I know as there's a forum with that picture and someone claiming that the twincharged VW engine only made 220hp, despite the 16v G60 limited having 210hp.

Going off the upper camcover deign, it's a KR/9A shortblock, if that helps date it?

I thought that at first, but it all looks a bit too `old school` to be one of those.

It probably only looks factory, because whoever built it used NOS parts...

Is there a chance it's some photoshop wind-up madness?

Start with a 16V G60, complete with Mk2/3 rear mount, add turbo wastegate and different inlet?

Yeah, good point. Might explain why it is floating in thin air.

Myabe it was a well put togeather 16vG60, and somebody has stuck the wastegate at the back.

yea was going to post that it looks like a possible photoshop, might just be the fact that its been cut out and put on a different backround but if there are no other pics of it on the net then photoshop is likely.
