ok my 16v kr idles even and EVERYTHING checks out timing, isv clean and buzzing,c/o blah blah

thing is...if i drop the clutch at say 1800 revs it plumets to below normal idle and then picks itself up

if i dip the clutch at higher revs its okay...it then drops fast to 1200 ish then settle to idle

could the isv just be worn out? its done 150k ..ive seen new uns for 39 notes on ebay

try cleaning the connectors going to the isv, and the three connectors that are on the block under the dizzy.

also check the connect on the hall sender on the dizzy.

    all good conectors

why would the hall sender affect the idle?

can anyone look next time they drive their(properley running) car..if you dip the clutch at say 1500-1600 revs does it drop to 1200 then gently settle to 100 ish

Mine catches at 1800 and then falls to 1200 then 1000, only thing that caused mine to fall below 1000 was bad mixture and idle screw settings but you`ve already cheked that?

Even idles fine with the kents in.

If you are looking for a working ISV then PM me.

I've got one spare, thought mine was shafted, so bought a new one but problem existed, so it's fully functional. Doesn't look the best but it does it's job, just requires a new gasket.

    Cheers

My 8 valve improved idle dramatically P when I cleaned inside the throttle body / idle screw - they were really crudded up....a long shot though...
