WUR mod on vortex.....

    Well said Golden.

    Espen, you have to understand that individual topics are posted so individual people can discuss things that are relevant to them.

    If you had something useful to add, or if you wanted some clarification yourself then of course we'd be happy to extend the discussion to non-uk setups, but you didn't. You just seemed to want to score points against Golden, who seems to me at least to be one of the most helpful and knowledgable people on here.

    Nah, no attempt to score points. Us Scandinavians leave that to the football court (against England) ;), just keeping the facts straight about one of the best fuel injection systems ever made.
    Funny thing that they called that Brit bound engine GX since the GX should have a CAT, but who knows. The slightest change in things like injection system or ignition would usually mean a different engine code.
    The "GX" engine w/o a CAT was sold in Canada as well, but that one was called MZ due to the lack of CAT and Lambda control.
    Modding the WUR should make a difference at all times unless you have lambda feedback to keep the mixture in check, just like playing with the mixture adjusting screw on the fuel distributor will.
