    hello all,

in the future i will be dropping a real engine into my motor, i keep hearing a lot about a "WUR mod" something to do with the warm up reg.

what exactly do you do - anything about making it run slightly richer?

    Yes, it enriches the fueling.
(by adjusting the screw on the back on the Warm Up Regulator (WUR))

The WUR mod is only for K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection. i.e MK1 GTI's, early MK2 GTI's and MK2 16v GTI.

This WUR mod may give you another 2-3bhp!

its more a case of fine tuning the mixture to be ideal....its not running overly rich or anything
the idle will still be normal

so idle will be fine - yet it will run slightly more richer when using the rev range?
