get in there you beauty. how sexy does this look!

Just binned the fairing, going to put straight bars on it and twin chrome headlights for that street fighter look.

Just started polishing the rims too.

    Those cans sound incredible BTW

Gonna look good with the straight bars. Simpson Bandit on order I hope. Parallel twin right? Get a nice small number plate as well.

There's one that potters around my area, can hear him coming from a mile away. Gorgious sound from the cans.

Get some Carbon race cans on it and really p*ss the neighbours off. ;)

don't need carbon cans, they are already totally non road legal ART cans, and they weigh next to nowt as all the stuffing has blown out of them!

    it barks :-)

yes, renthals with the tie bar stiffener. the TRX needs them, it doesn't turn in too well at low speeds,

it is a parallel twin and it isnt. Physically the cylinders are parallel to each other but it runs a 270 degree crank, which is the exact same firing order as a V twin. So really its a V twin in a more compact case :)

    I thank you

    have you seen german bikes?

BMW....say no more (except perhaps "beardy")

as for german modded bikes......they are just downright freaky looking.

Got to hand it to the japs for bikes, build quality is a bit shoddy bit it's not like you can hear the squeaks or rattles is it!

new pics coming soon, got the Renthal stright bars, will be buying the rest of the bits this weekend at the bike show.

    updates.

I got some lamp brackets today, so I thought I'd mock it all up for a trail fit to get a feel for the positions and proportions of it all
sorry about the dark pics again, I was too busy during daylight hours.

the clocks should snuggle down there somewhere, will have to cut the flyscreen slightly to clear the speedo cable,

    "jonny 5 is alive!"
looks abit crap in this pic actually, doesn't do it justice

chrome clamp ons didn't fit, I had to reshape them and use longer bolts (which I haven't got yet, hence the threaded rod in there as a temporary measure.

look at that, that beautiful lattice framework laid bare for all to behold, just as it should be

should I have it painted the same colour as my mk2? metallic orange pearl, with black wheels and polished rims? (and possibly a black frame an engine too?)

I've seen a mint ROOF helmet i want, metallic orange with 2 black stripes down the middle, it's a beaut!

And sounding like everyone else, the trumphy has a very destinctive
note to it, some of the roar of a Vtwin (as well as some of the torque)
and some of the wail of a four (and some of the top end)

    Great engines

Hell yeah the triple is one of the best sounding bikes out there. My mate has a 959 with the same exhaust on his and I love sitting behind him when he guns it. Brings a smile every time.

Best sounding bike I have ever heard was the Aprilla GP triple. That was a beast. Basically 3cyl of an F1 engine but sadly now defunked.
