Anyone else utterly disinterested in working?
I wouldn't mind, the Christmas break was longer (and more boring!) than usual...

I have spent the better part of 2 weeks shuttered in at home with the family, the boys to their credit were not too bad but honestly I'd prefer to work.

Weather is starting to break later this week and may actually get (just) above zero - pass the bermuda shorts people, I'm going outside.

I’m back working a couple of shifts a month after spending most of the last two years on furlough. So glad to be back just now. Worst part of this time of the year for me is my two golfs are in dry storage cos I don’t have a garage and don’ like driving em with salt on the road. Shame because there are loads of jobs I could be cracking on with, then I could just drive and enjoy them in the summer. Never mind, spring ‘ll soon be here then I can potter about outside on those long barmy evenings to my hearts content. Got to build up credits with the misses in the meantime so better get that decorating finished or there’ll be no spanners for me.:cry::cry:

Good to know someone, somewhere still thinks we’ll need aircraft and pilots to fly them once this carry-on is all over???

There’s more of a demand for them now than ever really.

Like I said - International Man of Mystery, travels frequently to the Far East, now heading the U.S. - builds 'aircraft simulators'. As far as I'm concerned he's a spook (MI6 is my guess but who knows)

I've had less time off the last 2 years than usual, so I'd love a bit of furlough.
I miss working on/driving my GTI...

Furlough was fantastic, would definitely recommend it and I still used all my holiday.

Furlough did mean no car money tho. And work seems to be taking over so I need to change that, I want to enjoy the Golf this summer. I say enjoy, I’ll probably just break it and then be really annoyed so leave it for the year

I've figured it out chaps - Sam's 'aircraft simulators' are not actually simulators. He's building flight control stations for airstrike and or reconnaissance drones.

I got you Sam...I got you!

Lucky boy, a 131, is it a supermiafiori? Mate had a couple, I had a 132 and the easiest way to remove engine was shake the car and get a broom.
Next your going to say its orange and make me extremely envious.
