Best thing to do is buy a modified car mag and hit as many of the free phone numbers, or local rate numbers as possible.

You may find one or two insurance companies may accept the NCB, but most won't. And you're better off telling them about all the engine and exterior mods, incase something terrible happens.

There was a post about this recently, I think!

They won't cover all your mods - their computers can't do it...... wouldn't even cover me for an 8v with a 2l fitted.

Use a different insurance company. Not many UK companies will cover over here so we have to use local ones.

1700 - Adrian Flux, tpft, Every mod declared, with break down cover.

So i rang my insurer, explained i want to buy my mums car (i.e mine) and insure it with modifications, listed the mods i have planned. They said just keep receipts for everything i've done, Car valuation of 900 quid.
k-jet injection, they weren't bothered unless the cars CC has been increased!

    fully comp, full cover........ Guess!
