Yellow headlight bulbs?

as title, where can i get some for my mk2, i dont want yellow headlight lenses, just the bulbs, ay ideas...?

and i want them proper yellow, like they would be with yellow lenses, not like just tired old normal bulbs...

yellow lights are legal

 

Yet no manufacturer fits them as standard in the UK?

 

they were only fitted to cars in France upto around 1990, originally they were fitted as they cut through fog and poor weather conditions than white light.

But yes they are legal in the UK

VW sell the yellow H4's, well there listed on ETOS anyway

and yes they are legal, our college tutor couldnt be arsed to teach us one day so gave us the 'big book of uk car lighting laws' to read, which was nice...

anybody else been pulled because of yellow bulbs recently?

 

They're legal!!!

 

yeah i know! .. but police still seem to pull people i know

what would you say to the traffic police if they were to tell you to take them out?

would you argue the toss and risk getting points or something stupid?

or would you just take them out.. because my mate was told to change them, and he did there and then... but if they are legal, what do you do when your told to take them out?

 

Argue! If I know I'm right I always do.

I've never had them mention the yellow lights on the numerous occasions I've been pulled but I have argued with them over my back wheels being too wide and in the end they've let me off when they realised they were wrong
