I have a slight issue with my engine. Changed the oil in it at the weekend and now if the car has been sitting overnight or for a period of time when i switch the ignition on but not turn it over the yellow oil light comes on, beeps, flashes 3 times and then goes out. After that it doesn't come back on. Oil level is sitting bang on the max mark. Has anyone any idea what the issue may be? Replacement oil is 10w-40 Mobil 2000
it may be the bonnet switch playing up, if they trigger a low level warning it wont reset till the clocks see you have opened the bonnet apparently! worth opening and closing the bonnet a few times anyway
