When I turn on my car, my car sits at 1000 revs, and settles to about 900. But then it idles quite ruff, keeps bouncing from 900 revs to 1000 but drives absolutely fine.

In the past about a year ago now I had the crank sensor replaced as I had a similar problem but the revs would go mental and eventually cut out ...

Would you say the ruff idle is due to the crank sensor being on its way out again? or?

Dirty MAF sensor, idle valve dirty.. clean all sensors in the proper cleaner and inside pipes leading to throttle body. Should see an improvement.

Rectified it ... carb cleaner down the throttle body worked a charm :)
