Yet another ABS query 2.0 GTI 97

    Replaced ABS ecu now this again
    Control Module Part Number: 3A0 907 379 D
    Component and/or Version: ABS ITTAE 20 GI V00
    Software Coding: 03704
    Work Shop Code: WSC 00672
    3 Faults Found:
    00285 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Front Right (G45)
    35-00 - -
    00290 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Rear Left (G46)
    35-00 - -
    00287 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Rear Right (G44)
    35-00 - -

    Should i replace all 3 or is there something else i should be looking for checked all wiring no breaks or anything like that all fuse ok i found one wire from the module plug but looking at wiring diagrams thats for early models and not used

    How do you know you have fitted a good ECU? In my experience you have probably just fitted another dud ECU

    Before i took it out of the car i vag comed it no faults found as the car was running sound the shell had rotted out also if i unplug the good sensor that shows as a fault

    Check all sensors and rings, check the big connector that plugs in to the ECU, sometimes that can get coolant in it nd correode the contacts. I'd be surprised if you had lost 3 sensors all at once, although it is a possibility...
