Just bought one of these R15:0.1 as the R8:0.1 of my mates is IMMENSE!!!, this is the even bigger version and should be pumping my 2x15 Rockford subs a treat . i hate places that don't quote rms figures make sure u get them subs into a nice huge ported bos for some awesome roof flexing fun
RMS figure is quoted on the side of the box that the amp came in : 1104w RMS (Handwritten and stamped), 1500 max. Im so happy, ive had my Box made etc and carpeted off the sides of the boot and also all bare metal, trouble is now i have 0 bootspace heheWhich has led me to think of ripping out the back seats and making my build even bigger???!!! Im really getting into all this audio stuff, the 2 subs are being powered at the mo by a little alpine MRD-350 in a 2ohm load, which is ok, however my PG amp arrived today so i can plumb that in Pics here : Plastic removed and carpeted over MDF Enclosure blocking turrets off (love this bit) And the beast thats replacing the alpine amp powering them Edited by: vwgolfgtimkii
i think that you would do better with a different box design as i reckon with those ports you'll be tuned quite high face subs up with slot port going all the way across the back like so
Just got this box done? why would i change it so soon? Installed the PG amp and this hits much harder than im ever gonna need, im sure my eyeballs were vibrating in the sockets and it caused loss of breath And yes i need my boot for going to asda with etc, which is why im badgering my lass to let me get another Mk2
f**k me, that is one stunning amp. how much you pay for it? i wish i could hear it! listen to it for 30 mins, if it makes your ears bleed then its passed the test. lol that happened to my mate, hes got a very hefty package, listened to it on a high level for 30 mins and he felt blood in his ears, not good..... doctors etc.... lol there is a funny side to it hopefully they will destroy the lexus lights and force you to get some real lights! muhahh! jk mate. again.. well played!
i made my mate go deaf in one ear for a few days he had to have tests at docters and all sorts then it just poppeed and he could hear again
