Mk2 all the way. My Mums Mk5 is very nice though.

 

meh....blinkered mk2 owners.

In what way is a mk2 Gti better than a mk5, exactly? Cos I can think of plenty of reasons why a mk5 is better, hands down.

Looks are nothing to do with it btw.

 

this isnt about a cetain model being better.....its about one being a favourite.

 

errr yeah ok but survey aside....I stated that I thought the mk5 Gti was the best Gti by far....and you obviously disagree, so I just wondered how you come to that conclusion, that's all.

 

no i agree that the mk5 is the 'best' gti.....best being most technologically advanced but thats obvious.....this is about favorite.....
