    Long, long time ago...

Might have been (ahem, [:$] ?) Adam & the Ants, in Oxford, whenever the single Antmusic was out; 1980ish?

Actually a hell of a gig. The man was/is completely barking, but put on quite a show. Maybe I wasn't too hard to impress at the tender age of about 14?

Could just as easily have been Stiff Little Fingers, also in Oxford.

I was at that gig!!! F'ckin rocked!! Was joshin with my friend that it'd be ace if Anti-Flag played too, and we walked in and they were on!!! Made up was an understatement.

My first gig though was Machine Head at Manchester Academy (when it was the academy, not 1,2 or 3) Supported by One Minute Silence ( get in!! ) I was older though, 17-18 i think. Followed up the following week by Green Day for the Warning tour.

Ocean Colour Scene at margate wintergardens in 2003, supported by the Delays- who were pretty good actually even tho the lead singer appears to not have gone through puberty yet lol

OCS were great tho, got right down the front, got covered in beer but quality night. bout 200 ppl stuck at margate train station waiting for the hour late train afterwards singing "the day we caught the train" was quality, wont forget that hehe
