Whilst the trimmer is still sourcing the material for my other recaros I thought I'd stick these in the car as I've got a feeling they might be a while

I didn't think the centre material really suited the car so may go for something a bit nicer for the centre

    How they where

    How they are now

I was thinking an orange white check? Going to keep the ribbed recaro section

Depends how much orange and how subtle?

On this where are you sending them to be upholstered as my recaro require a new bolster.

Well you can buy the bolsters new online as I had mine done and the back section as that is one part. Then re-trim but still hit the 1k mark after buying seats, new foams and retain by Mj interiors. But lovely and comfy.

You could go for the orignal style and colour of the ones originally in your car? Would also make them more appealing for a a mk2 owner if you sell them when you get your others back.
There is also the option of spraying them a different colour with cloth material paint. Much cheaper option if they are only temporary.
Cant remember what the paint is called. I have a can in the shed, will have a look shortly.
