What song would you have played at your funeral? Bit of an odd/random question i know but was talking about this with mates the other day and they all seem to have a song which means quite a lot to them, i however have never really put much thought into the matter. Some of them were funny songs and some were deep emotional songs. Anyone else ever thought about this??
dont fear the repear - blue Oster cult ( yeah dodgy nicked the sample of the intro ) Or Exit 100 - liquid - loud as fook ( its castlemorton all over again ) Just as the coffin goes in Not sure the family would approve tho , i have been to a few the last 2 years so it has been on my mind

Pardon me - Incubus Would have to be cremated though for it to have full effect. So pardon me while I burst into flames. I've had enough of the world and its people's mindless games. So pardon me while I burn and rise above the flame. Pardon me, pardon me... I'll never be the same!
Johnny Cash, Hurt - So Much better than the NIN edition brings me to tears [:^(] Johnny Cash - Burning Ring Of Fire Metallica - Blackened Slayer - Reign in Blood (Because it's so heavy)

Sadly I had to go to a mate's funeral a couple of weeks ago, he was 37, a complete petrol head all his life. Killed by a drunk driver on his way to the International Mini Meet He'd owned several hundred cars and bikes in his time, but was mostly interested in classic brit cars and minis in particular. We had a convoy of 40 or 50 classics following the hearse, and Florence was one of the youngest cars there. One of his prized posessions was the Riley Elf he'd restored for his wife as a christmas present, he played the song "life of riley" by the lightning seeds the first time she started and drove it - that was the song played when he went into the crematorium. the final bit of music at the end of the service brought tears to my eyes - he and I used to sing it (endlessly) at uni, mostly after drinking, and would randomly call out the opening line when wandering around the college. It was also the lullaby for his 3 month old son (Harry).
