mk2 16v 2Y gearbox with standard 5th gear ratio will do 20mph/1000rpm so 6000rpm = 120mph, 7000rpm - 140 etc.
I blame the council for the state of the roads. I may well right a letter of complaint, Dear Sir, While recently trying to photograph my speedometer whilst doing slightly over 100mph, I found that I could not get a clear picture due to the rough surface of the road. Please could you do some resurfacing for me....

I don;t think anyone is gonna beat that, although 800G's got within an indicated 40mhp of it on tuesday in Albys old MK2 VR6 (Now owned by 800g's). And the thing was still pulling hard when he lifted off. No pictures I'm afriad as I was too busy holding on tight to the jesus handle as we were bouncing along the long straight private dual carridgeway. It sounded like a jetski as the front end kept lifting off the ground. If theres a next time I'll whip me camera phone out.... Edited by: RallyeVR6
