Im looking to buy some summer use tyres for my Porsche split rims 8s on the front 9.5s on the rear. I want 215x35x18s front and 225x35x18s rear and I dont want a big bulge on the tyre when fitted.

What make and code would you go for if you want grip but also want a reasonable lasting tyre. There are only a few makes that do tyres in my selected sizes, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 are one, anybody run these tyres that can give feedback? Dunlop SP9000 would be nice but I dont think they do them in my sizes?

Appreciate any advice you can give me.

I've got F1 GSD 3's, a really good tyre but shite compared with the Bridgstone RE720's I had before.

proxies, good for the money, but by no means the best!

Uniroyals are up there with the best IMO, i really rate the Rainsports and Rallye540/550 series

Thanks, sounds like the Goodyears would be a fair choice and they are a good price from mytyres.co.uk.

compare the price of proxes and F1s - the toyos are much better in the dry, good in the wet, F1s better in the wet, good in the dry until you overheat them

depends if the car is for show or go

    f**k the T1-S
Get the T1-R's, they grip better, less noisy and f**k me they last like 3 times longer than the t1-s's!!
