Looking at revamping my bodywork with some of this Zymol HD cleanse stuff but not entirely sure what to do! I have read about using a cutting compound (t-cut?), then HD cleanse and finally sealing with wax.

If anyone has a full guide on how to do this and maybe where to get the stuff from it would be appreciated! Cheers

PS - Car is tordado red (i think)

HOW BAD IS THE PAINT WORK ?????

HD CLEANSE WILL ONLY REMOVE OLD WAX.....IT MAKE A BASE FOR THE WAX TO ADHERE TO PROPERLY,ITS A LONG PROCESS BUT WORTH IT IN THE END.
IT TOOK ME TWO DAYS TO DO IT PROPERLY [:^(]AUTO BATHE,HD CLEANSE AND FINALLY APPLY THE WAX.NO FINGER PRINTS FOR A WHILE [:s]

Crad, Apart from SHOUTING in the post (a bit no, no), HD Cleanse does more than remove the old wax, as it also cleans the paintwork as well, although it is not that quick to use and is quite messy.

The Paint Cleaner fluid from SWISSOL is easier to use and certainly does more than remove the old wax from the car. It certainly cleans the paintwork, revealing the true colour of the paintwork.

It is also a lot easier to prepare the car if a paint rubber has been used after the washing stage, as the surface of the paint is really smooth then.

Two days to do the car is a long time. I take it you had lots of tea breaks then...! [:$]

Get in touch with Glynn at Specialist Cars of Malton, he'll talk you through it, or even better, he'll be able to send you the article that was in GT or a users manual.
