If you want poo-hot support and info on DTA then speak to Vince @ Stealth, I think he knows more about it then DTA themselves!

Autronic is the way to go i'm using it and if you understand the mapping process you will see how much better it is than DTA and others.
+ when pricing always find out everything you need ie
wiring loom, throttle switch, map sensor etc. because you will find they don't come with all systems.
By the way the results are amazing. [:D] [:D]

After market management systems are only ever as good as the person that sets it up in my mind, its like databases, sh1te in you get sh1te out...

To do it properly you need dyno time then road/rolling road time with as much measurement of load sites A/F ratio etc as you can get.

As for DTA support, Alan Wharburton does not suffer fools gladly, if you know what you are on about he will listen.

How much do your complete DTA set up every part you need + mapping??
I am also interested to see why everybody uses DTA and doesn't want to know about anything else.

Think the DTA's are around 600ish. Then you need a map sensor at another 100ish, then a remap 400ish. I think alot of people are going DTA because I've heard the wiring is easier than others; Plus Vince uses it at Stealth, and as we all know, he's the man. :)

I live down the road from Stealth, and he's probably the only tuner that i now trust. He specialises in DTA so thats why i went for it.

Any problems, he's close enough to help, so it less hassle etc etc

    Thats why i went DTA.

you couldn't easily use the original VW management from a 20v on a 16v on bodies, but DTA, emerald etc would run a 16v on bodies fine..........unless this 16v on bodies also has a turbo

    Them as in DTA directly?
Like the comments previously said previously about Allan... ;)

Stealth have used DTA for a while now on 20VT conversions. Experience and base maps will count for a lot when it comes to dialing it all in. Saves money in the end on RR dyno time.
