Yep engine is running and it drives. Going for a custom exhaust in nxt wk or 2 and off to the tuner to get mapped after that. Hav to get it weighed and take sum camber/caster etc measurements so can order up the suspension. Wanna try and get it ordered before go on hols on the 1st August. All money money at the mo tho
Installed oil temp sensor and baffle in sump [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] Got a new inlet manifold with longer runners [/IMG] [/IMG] Got dash finished up apart from one guage i'm waiting for along with a new tacho as previous 1 woz a piece of crap and shift light woz 500rpm out comparied to wat tacho woz showing [/IMG] [/IMG] Also fitted USB connector on dash face for connecting up laptop for mapping etc Jus fitted one latch on boot [/IMG] And few more pics aswell [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]
Coming on nicely, did custom cages do your cage? Is it going to be road legal? Any info on the wiring stuff?
Very nice mate! Coming along nicely and looking great in white! I like the dash box. Did you rewire with any specialised lightweight wire, raychem 55 etc or standard auto wiring? Whats the inlet manifold from? later CTR or other unit? Any plans to enhance the engine, i.e. throttle bodies or supercharger, al la Aerial atom? Keep up the good work, keenly watching with interest!
That is a very interesting project. Perfect idea to install the K20 engine. Your vehicle will be a killer!
