Who did alot of the custom fab work?

 

Dogwood does a lot of it + the cage people (mentioned in the thread).

They're in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Such an awesome car, great to see its progression.

 

looking really good...not long now then?? How has the track been widened to fill the arches?? Wide wheels and spacers?

 

Longer than you would think probably! If I could make work, family etc. vanish for a couple of weeks it would be great. Track is widened with tubular bottom arms, different uprights and different driveshafts.

 

r u still off to Berg Cup Nick for some more inspiration ?

Mental car. I think it is going to be quite quick!

 

There's 20 years of VW fettling + race car experience in this build, combined.

And Mr D can drive. His 2003 Curborough performance may go unnoticed, but the clock spoke volumes. Just a 1600 Polo...

 

Im still smiling at the noise it made now.

Thanks for that. Got back ok ta. Did you have to sit on the dock for two hours? Couldn't believe it when they shut the doors behind us!
