I agree, its a shame to see a Series 1 in that state. Looks like its just been left somewhere to rot... [:^(]
Ive been noticing this more and more lately. On the M25 on Sunday, a new Fiesta was beside me. He had what looked like Lenso's bsx wheels, lowered with a set of german pressed number plates. I also saw a Saxo, lowered to nothing with green steelies Looks like the chavs have finally ditched the big body kits and spoilers then, and are now copying the so called VW scene look. I like the lowered look, but not a fan of the lary green/orange ect wheels and wheelwhore stickers that you see on some VW's. I guess its an ever changing thing really, but for me you cant beat the more subtle and original mods/looks on a VW!
If you think thats a shame then check this out. [:^(] Ive never really been a part of the Ford fraternity but this thread and the retro rides 'lets see the abandoned ones' make me a little teary lol
Bump, anyone seen any more lately ? There is a fleet of Peugeot 106's and Saxos going around near me looking very low, german pressed plates, and wide deep dished wheels. As said going back to the start of the thread, i suppose its good to see this look, rather than the chaved up bodykits we have seen in the past. Loving that 205 btw ^^^ Must have missed that before
What got a rat look original mini. (rusted up bonnet) and a lowered fiesta st and zetec s. dont look bad to be fair but id rather get a mk1 and do the work. so much cooler. dont get rat look at all either
Yep seen a local lad used to drive a stunningly mint mk2 Fiesta '1.1 popular plus' slammed on some wide rims that looked like ATS but when it got on boost you could here the tyres spinning up on what was either 2nd or 3rd gear followed by a few loud pops and bangs from the exhaust
is'nt it a bit like early nineties clean cars with 17" 5 spoke or them horrible 3 spoke alloys. but now with deep dish alloys ,and lowering kits instead of the mad cut the springs
