i think the money will be made on the loom parts, ce2 fusebox coloured connectors sell for about a tenner each
well, thats what people put them on ebay for. whether they actually get that money... I have enough to go into retirement if thats what they're really worth
i'll write a list of items i have tomorrow for you guys I have a mk3 loom from a 2.0 for some reason, no good to anyone i don't think, so seems the logical step to sell the parts
a complete loom would be worth selling yes, plenty of mk2 guys still installing 2.0 8vs in their cars. but single connectors not worth all that much, there is a seller who has caddy plugs etc for sale at steep prices but he's been trying to sell them for ages... also worth moey to mk3 guys who are doing engine swaps can use a donor loom rather than hacking up the original, means they dont have to take the car off the road etc
think this is a 2.0 loom? theres no part number stickers or anything. didnt think it would be ABF. its interior and engine side. the weird round connector pointed us to 2.0 8v IMG_20220416_152450 by Laxadams, on Flickr IMG_20220416_152234 by Laxadams, on Flickr
all the mk3 engines have the round plug, easy way to tell the 2.0 8v apart is look for 3 pin plugs near round plug. if theres 2x knock and one crank then its abf. if theres 1 knock and 1 crank its AGG/ADY. if theres just a knock sensor, its 2E. you can also check the driver side loom as well, if theres a maf plug over there near the lambda its 8v, if just a 2 pin inlet temp its abf (not to be confused with the mfa outside tmep 2 pin plug, that one is white/red and brown/white or the dimdip resistor yellow 2 pin plug)

interior loom is 88-89 ce1 loom (is late ce1 because it has 11 pin red headlight switch) has an alarm tapped into it (big black box) so probably has a fair bit of damage on the harness
yep the alarm is a pain, but i thought i might remove the alarm, repair it all and sell it as a complete unit - spent enough time repairing looms in my one to make a nice job of it and that probably adds some value
yeah was going to say its easy enough to repair the dash looms back to oe as you can get all the pins new, except for the cluster wiring since you cant get the pins for those any more only option is splice and solder
