Dyno Pit is now dug, and concrete is drying now.... what a hot weekend to do this! piccies below cutting out the slab (started 6pm Friday night, finished (knackered), at about half 9pm) Spoil in 9 yard skip (started again 8am saturday, to finish the digging) DPM goes in saturday about 9am Concrete arrived at 9.30 saturday. hard readymix with fibres Shuttered up for pouring the walls sunday Now waiting for it to dry until tuesday night to break out the shuttering. next to get hold of a fork lift truck for a few mins and unload my trailor of dyno and drop it in. getting there
the main part will sit approx flush to proud slightly... I will likely play with this height with shims to get ride height and roller depth as best a compromise I can. being in the doorway to the workshop it cant protrude too much out of the ground
that ibiza is sat in the background rubbing its hands together telling the dyno "im going to do nasty nasty things to you!"
thankyou sir dyno is in old unit, as i have for now abandoned looking and waiting for somewhere else to move to.... Need the dyno working , so its going into the old unit whilst I continue looking for alternate premesis. be very glad to see it working after all this time.
MINT! excellent work there Billo your not just going to plug it into that wall socket though are you?
yea, is that a problem? only kidding.. its single phase 20amp so I need to run a feed to it, and also a 3phase supply to the HD fan I am aquiring. (not the large air movers in the pictures)
That's the only problem i saw with a few RR over the years are a lack of tidy airflow, hopefully yours will be more up to the job Bill. Nice updates.
being installed last night into the hole and sat in its new home wiring in the supply asap, and time to try it out soon.
Wooh, no hanging around on that install ! Looks neat, minimal drive-over issues. Have you an idea what it weighs?
no mucking about what so ever. is there going to be a grand unveiling? could get a little cgti meet down there
aye.. well chuffed mate looking fwd to using it power next connection, and finish painting floor, check out old industrial fan i have lined up for suitability.. then some training on it, some floor plates which should arrive tomorrow hopefully, to strap to, and we should be good to go
Wooh, heavier than I'd imagined How does it secure into the floor? Weight, wedges down the side or an inbuilt clamp system?
