Old race car adage " when the green flag drops, the bullsh*t stops"

Is a mk1 Focus elligible for Combe saloons? (Serious question)

Depends which engine...... But if you ran the 2.0 focus rs with 1.5 turbo multiplier you fit nicely into class b which bill is in. Or ineterstingly you could run a 1.8 zetec in class b which is mostly rained by 106 gti's at the moment.

    yep. really

    something to think on..
Racelogic VBox 3 years ago.. (note that, 3 years ago, when on FP Red not GT35)

0-100, 8.75s and only just sub 5s 0-60 such was traction..
that was on my journey back from a combe track day, with a 2nd set of wheels in the car, just playing pulling out of a junction. (vbox logged it, and I saw the logged time and gps data when I downloaded later that night)

Ibiza's certainly not a slower car these days.. at all  [:D]

Bring it on. - Especially to combe

Uncompetitive car in class b which it's going to be put into even if you did have the 330hp 2.4 engine, which probably doesnt fit into the rule

ENGINE - The cylinder block and cylinder head must be the same as originally fitted to that
make and model, and located as such. Over-boring is permitted up to maximum capacity of
the Class entered. No change of stroke is permissible. Any other internal modifications are
    free.

    Due to change in stroke

We're looking to building an ST170 track car with sorted chassis and the power it should have had from Ford.

    Developing components as we speak.

Cool. Duratec 20 is the best production based engine available presently for the 2L class - 300hp from 2L very doable and I know a man who can get a bit more than that. Mountune are not the best kiddies in town with this engine, but they are a damn good place to start. We need a chat if you really are serious about going down this route.

    its not a 2L class, its a 1.8L or a 3.0L class.
