    Looks fantastic

I like the mods, nothing excessive, just subtle mods to complement the Mk2.

Interior should look great with the leather door cards [:D]

Fantastic mate. I'm glad you haven't put horrible square headlamps on the front and instead kept the mods subtle.

I hate to say this, but I even kind of approve the England flag as well - tied to the beesting, rather than some crappy thing on the window!

It's quite sad that my oak green 16V has been sitting in the garage without MOT for many months. All this is due mainly to a house move and change of job, etc. I'm working very hard to get it sorted out ready for the road now though, having spent almost every night for godknows how long trying to refurbish an old set of RMs myself! I've already spent over a grand on parts for the engine project as well

    thanks!!

yeah i really had to think hard about the rallye lights. but if i did, then the car would just be another modded golf.

i like driving round still in the 'classic' mk2. some things are best left alone

it will one day be on the cover of pvw 'with' a 4 lamp grille  ;)

i also thought about loosing the tints, but its a good security device and stops people from looking in.

trev are you going for the turbo or g60? [:s] [:D]

Me thinks MK3 leather will be the way forward!

Otherwise the car looks mint as usual! [:D] I still think the original exhaust on the MK2 Gti is legendary. [:D] Suits the car so well.
