Does anyone know for definite if 15" compomotive MOs will fit over my brakes i have on my mk2.
I'm using 16" BBS RCs at the moment and want to avoid using them on track to avoid spoiling them and the extra cost of larger tyres.
I tried some on my car for Chris P at Donington but can't remember what size he had. I also need to know what offset.
    Cheers

GolfboyChris got 320mm (i think??) Porsches under his 15's.

You can get Compomotive to make you some MO's 15x7 et35 with extra clearence...

    mine are 310x32s under 7x15 ET35 compos....

prob with the ibiza brembo kits is the caliper castings are huge so require a lower ET for them to fit!

I remember Chris' wheels having loads of clearance between the caliper and spoke but i would like et35 if possible. Might have to phone Compomotive and ask.
    Thanks lads.

I think i'll have to try one to know for sure. I've heard people say they'll fit but don't know of anyone who's done it.

AFAIK that is the only VAG car that uses those brakes. Order from Brembo direct?

i've tried one of Mr Vanstone's wheels earlier and i would probably need a 15mm spacer as the caliper hits the rim near the spokes. there's loads of clearance with the actual spokes. :(

Check out SC.net. There's an ongoing list of what wheels fit and what don't and figures for clearance etc.

Unfortunately a lot of 16s don't fit either. It seems to be the clearance to the spokes that's the prob.
