Yes you're right. When we tried yours i was looking at the spoke clearance which was about 20mm, i wasn't looking closely enough.

Seen the price difference in tyres for the two sizes? I think most people would agree that a mk2 handles better on 15".

Those Compomotives are loads heavier than my RCs [:s]

I think you'll find that MOST people haven't even bothered to try anything else other than 15"s.....

They wont go unless you do something horrible to the caliper and maybe move them in a bit. I have been talking to Compomotive this week and we have decided an ET25 will more than likely go on so i've ordered some of those. They'll go even if they wont if you know what i mean

I have recently sorted my standard 256mm brakes on Pagid FR pads DOT 5 fluid

You know how hard my car's driven on track and it has survived 5 years of continual track abuse

The standard stoppers do work efficiently but will go off on lap 4 at Coombe in the summer but I get on okay with them

Slick 50 cars ran standard anchors

I went to Compomotive direct. You will probably have to wait a few weeks for delivery though.
As i said earlier i bought et25 offset and i had to put 5mm spacers on them AND shave the caliper bolts slightly to make them fit so an et20 is the best option. I'm not too bothered about the spacers as the wheels still locate on the hub.
Hope this clears it up [:D]

They haven't scrubbed yet and my cars is lowered about 40mm on Koni coilovers but i haven't had them on the car long and have yet to take them on track. My arches are also rolled.
My car handles better now than it did on 16s with et35 offset
