i was after a nice silver one for a while, this one has a brand new everything - brakes, exhaust and the engine had done 2000miles when i got it :)

and you're right, you dont see many nicely modified silver ones, they're usually a mish mosh of 90 and pre, with nasty coloured lighting and the worst ones are colour coded all over... badly

keep it simple and OEM-ish... :)

by the way, what do you all reckon to his lovely shiny beautifully polished wheels? ignore the fact theyre tsw's :) i spent about 5 hours polishing them obsessively for Inters, they just sat in the "car park" airfield and now theyre coming off less than 2 weeks later! grrrr :)

damn right, engine has done about 5000 miles now (five-thousand [:D]) new brakes, new exhaust (stainless one to go on yet) - it was owned by the parts manager at VW derby so everythings been replaced!

so far in the few weeks ive had it:

    cv boot exploded
    handbrake light is staying on
    brakes were sticking a bit
it had a tiny water leak
sidelight has given up, not the bulb or holder, so ill wire a new bit of loom/connector up
radiator fan started making horrible noises, seems ok now...
ive had a speeding ticket and a parking ticket

    nothing too major (yet...)

Nice looking car, Jolfa. Don't go breaking this one, now you've got it looking good. ;)

Now all you need to do is get down to the Nottingham meet and show it off. :)
