    I like to see mk 2s on original steelies and with the selling VW dealers plates as you have shown here:

    it was quite clean,sort of a grey colour, the worst was the black sh**ty waxoyl which I scrubbed off with white spirit or t cut

    The waxoyl will protect the car tho. Looks mint. Great to see cars in this condition

    Didnt you have a red MK2 that was stuck in a garage, leaked like a siv and needed paint on the boot surround? If not sorry my bad

    sad question, but could you take a piccy of the carpet behind the centre console, where the 2 halves join? on all the mk2s I've owned its looked pretty poor there and just wondered if they looked liek that from new or if there was a way to fit it to make it look better :lol:

    I thought you had an inch of water in the Mk2 and it needed paint on the rear panel. Isnt that what he means Sam?
