8v K-Jetronic ; difficult to hot-start

    Check the airflow sensor plate hieght.

    In my experience with my 8v, and problems starting are usually on the electrical side, scummy rotor or dizzy cap. if its poo on tick over, the squirt some carb cleaner in the air filter a few times. Always worked for me so far !

    Please do it, it took me nearly as long to find that thread as it would to re-write it! [|)]

    As above by Golden but check for leaky injectors as well. Disconnect the cold start valve as well in case this is chucking in too much fuel.
