vag commander can't do all that so you are just as well getting it all done at the same time
    will keep the cost down

I thought I'd get immobiliser defeat done with commander and using vcds for changing values for sai and lambdas.so your saying vag commander no good?

no vag commander is good just you have to know what you are doing lol
not a lot of info on how to use it and it is sometimes limited in what it can do

I have used it to dump the immo data off mk5 clocks to load back when doing a mid to highline clock swap
me and Alan used it to work out the immo pin of my mk4 r32 ecu when fitting it to his bora
both worked but took a while to find the info on line

as i said i never tried the immobiliser defeat mainly because i have to change the engine loom to do it
and didn't want to find out with everything plugged in ready to go it didn't work as it's my daily

i have bought both super-vag and vag commander both are meant to do the defeat

As well as vcds as far i am aware you can't code out the lambdas with vdcs not sure about the sai
if you car you would need to do it every time the car lot battery power or if you cleared any fault codes

With this being an engine swap/transplant I've no cluster or keys to worry about as it's fitted in a mk1 caddy spliced into a ce1 fusebox hence why I removed sai rear lambdas all I need is error free and immobiliser disabled

if you want i't error free send it away will cost much the same to get it all done at the same time as getting just the defeat on the immobiliser

if it was just the defeat i'd say give it a go but vdcs is not code out rear lambdas and SAI

I'll connect up commander see what's involved if it gets a bit complicated I'll just have to send ecu away to someone who can do it

super vag scan tool is the same
