well i've just gone down the meriva setup as mentioned previously so i though id post up pics so you can see how well they fit. the main difference being the disc vents are on the inside as opposed to the outside as on the 280mm G60 discs

i can confirm that the inner pad doesn't miss any disc so you won't get any overlap on the pad (just couldn't get my phone to focus on that)

Some pattern g60 discs vent to the inside which is pref, some outside, not so good. It is good to know the meriva ones vent to the inside as it makes any brake cooling ducts more effective, which brand did you buy?

I've gone with ebc. The meriva disc has a larger wear surface so the pad doesn't lip over the inner edge. I think this would happen whether the vent was on the inside or outside of the g60 disc. It's just the dimensions of the disc!

I was referring to cooling rather than the wear surface, I wouldn`t use discs vented to the outside on the track car.

Yeah I get what you mean. Mines not a track car and I had the g60 setup but wasn't happy with the lipping of the pads

Excellent thread. Just wanted to bump it to the top to make sure the info is all still accurate as I've just bought a set of S2's that need a seal repair kit which I can get here without too much drama.

The thing that worries me is this link (here) shows a pic of a 5-stud disc.

    Cheers,

    Giles

    Well, I would!

Brembo Group 'N' discs. Vented on the outside, but with slots in the bell cylinder to suck air from inside!

    The best of both worlds!

I had to drill extra mounting holes when I converted from 4 stud 90Q to S2.

    hi guys,

Just curious to see what spacers people were using on the OEM BBS RA's.

An 8mm hubcentric spacer would provide the clearance required but its still only a few mm clear. any more than 10mm and there will be no lip for the wheel to center on?

    thanks in advance

    Craig
