My SAI on my AUM Mk4 cuts in a few times, even when its hot!

Its not too bad on start up, but if i turn the heater on while the SAI is running, the engine seems to run like its on 3 cylinders ?

Ive never got to the bottom of it though ? Maybe the SAI's rivets are far too gone and are causing the problems ? [:s]

My mate says the rivits look ok, but it is noisy so I still think it could be worth taking it off and bolting it just encase

When inspecting mine, the rivets looked ok.

Mine is so noisy too so its definitely sucking in like a hoover.

Doesn't help the neighbours in the mornings when im leaving for work at 4.30am

Its definitely on the to do list though. :)

My mates auq is still playing silly buggers, tried coil packs from my 1.8t, so what do we recon is the most likey? I've seen some folks have said the pancake on the breather can get blocked, so we are going to clean that out and double check the pcv system, but at a glance it looks fine..
